To get patent with the help of STEP, alumni research fundsTribune News ServiceLudhiana, August 17Students of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC) have once again tried to contribute to the society by making a low-cost automatic stamping machine. Project guide Prof Sukhinderpal Singh said such cumbersome tasks can be easily replaced by a mechatronics-based automatic machine designed by our students. The project consists of a consolidated feeding mechanism, page sensing unit, stamping unit and controlling console, collectively capable of stamping 40 loose pages in a minute. The team comprising Sahil Kumar, Sahil, Rohan Patnaik, Pankaj Bansal have completed this indigenous project by getting sponsorship grant from GNDEC 1959-63 batch alumni.
