2,900 unemployed youth attend job fair

Tribune News ServiceLudhiana, September 10Under the Ghar Ghar Rozgar Mission of Punjab government, job fairs were organised at Jagraon, Khanna and Samrala today. More than 2,900 unemployed youth and 100 companies participated in the job fairs. At Khanna, the job fair was inaugurated by Khanna MLA Gurkirat Singh Kotli and Payal MLA Lakhbir Singh Lakha. At Samrala, the job fair was inaugurated by MLA Amrik Singh Dhillon, and at Jagraon, it was inaugurated by former minister Malkit Singh Dakha. In this fifth-edition of job fairs, 2.10 lakh jobs will be provided and loans will be offered to more than 1 lakh youths for starting their ventures.
