Tribune News ServiceLudhiana, September 10The Finance & Contract Committee (F&CC) of the MC formed a committee for study of Solid Waste Management and Cleanliness & Sanitation Bylaws 2019. Committee members will submit a report with suggestions for fixing the garbage collection charges and penalties for violations of the by-laws. The MC is supposed to table a resolution for imposition of these bylaws in the MC’s general house meeting. Besides, there will be a provision to charge penalties on throwing or dumping waste in the open as per the by-laws. Reserve price increasedThe reserved price for Feroze Gandhi parking sites has been increased from Rs 40 lakh to Rs 80.10 lakh now.
