550 saplings to be planted to mark 550th Parkash Purb

Ludhiana, September 15Navchetna Child Welfare Committee is organising a plantation drive and painting competition dedicated to the 550th Parkash Purb of Guru Nanak Dev. Sukhdhir Sekhon, president of the committee, said the committee would plant 550 plants to celebrate this day. The senior citizen council of the committee carried out a plantation drive at Nankana Sahib Public School, Khasi Kalan. As many as 100 plants were planted by the members during the drive.
