Ludhiana, September 17 The PO wing of the Ludhiana police nabbed three proclaimed offenders wanted in different cases for a long time. In-charge of the PO wing, inspector Prem Singh, said special drive to nab absconders was launched and three absconders who were evading arrest were nabbed today. In the first case, the police nabbed Harjit Singh, a resident of Deep Colony. He was declared PO by the court in a case registered against him under the Arms Act at the police division 7. At the time of registration of the case, the police had recovered a knife from him. Inspector Prem said secret information was received about his whereabouts and a raid was conducted to nab him. In another case, the police nabbed Raj Kumar Wingi of New Punjabi Bagh. He was declared PO in a liquor peddling case registered against him at the police division 7 in 2016. He had been evading arrest from the day of registration of the case. In yet another case, Sukhdeep Singh alias Lovely of Jandu Chowk was nabbed. He was wanted in a liquor smuggling case registered against him in 2017 at the Dugri police station. After producing all accused in the court, they were sent to jail, said inspector Prem.
