During a raid at the Sherlock bar and restaurant, Malhar Road, the police found liquor was being served to customers even after 11.30 pm. At The War Fire Bar and Restaurant situated on Malhar Road, the police arrested its managers Parkash Singh and Panna Lal. A raid was also conducted at the Penthouse bar and restaurant situated in front of Gate No 2 of PAU. A staffer of the Rutba bar and restaurant on Malhar Road was arrested.

The raids were conducted by PS 5 SHO Richa along with his team. During a raid at the Sherlock bar and restaurant, Malhar Road, the police found liquor was being served to customers even after 11.30 pm. Its owners Jatin Bedi, Pawan Preet Singh and Gagan were arrested under section 188 of the IPC. At “Pandit De Paranthe” in Feroze Gandhi Market, the staff was caught serving food after putting up the main shutter. The police arrested its owners Rahul Sharma and Pardeep Singh. The owner of Tika Junction on Ferozepur Road, Mukesh Karir, was arrested. At The War Fire Bar and Restaurant situated on Malhar Road, the police arrested its managers Parkash Singh and Panna Lal. A raid was also conducted at the Penthouse bar and restaurant situated in front of Gate No 2 of PAU. Its manager Neha and owner Sachin Ahuja were booked. A staffer of the Rutba bar and restaurant on Malhar Road was arrested. The police also arrested Kapil Pathania of Brew State, Malhar Road; Rakesh Kumar and Rajiv Kumar, of Garden Café at Sarabha Nagar; Rajesh Kumar Chaurasia of “Chaurasian Pan” on Pakhowal Road; Madan Rawat, Surinder Thakur and Iqbal Singh of Colonel Café at Hero Bakery Chowk; and Ramandeep Singh of Tea Hut, Kipps Market.
