Samrala, September 19 The Samrala police late last night recovered three minors from Ropar. Two minor boys and one girl had been missing from their respective houses in Samrala. As per information, the three minors had left their houses after their parents told them not to waste much time in playing. Samrala SHO Sikander Singh said the kids were presented in a court today and after their statement, they were handed over to their guardians in the afternoon. The SHO said the minor girl used to dress like boys. The girl’s parents had given Rs 200 to fetch milk, but she, along with two minor boys, boarded a bus and reached Ropar. They reached at the Ropar railway station late last night and some persons witnessed three kids and informed the police. A team of the Samrala police, along with the parents of the kids concerned, reached the spot and recovered the kids at about 1.30 am. The police presented the minors in a court where their statements were recorded and later, they were handed over to their family members in the afternoon. — OC
