Our Correspondent Khanna, September 21 Two motorcycle-borne youths died in a road accident near Gurdwara Sahib Manji Saheb Kottan. The deceased have been identified as Jaspreet Singh (24), a resident of Jaspalon village, and Sukhwinder Singh (32), a resident of Manjali Kalan village. As per the information, both were working in different factories and had left for home on motorcycles after their shift. When they reached near Shergill dhaba, their motorcycles suddenly collided with each other resulting in serious injuries. After information, a police party of Kottan chowki reached the spot and the injured were rushed to CMC Ludhiana along with the help of some villagers. The doctors declared them dead. SHO Sadar Khanna Baljinder Singh said a case of negligence was registered against Jaspreet Singh after the accident, but later both youths died. The bodies have been kept in the mortuary and will be handed over to their guardians after the post-mortem. Jaspreet was yet to be married, while Sukhwinder has left behind his two minor children apart from other family members.
