Students deliberate on values of Vedic traditions

Tribune News ServiceLudhiana, October 19Sanatan Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, New Deep Nagar, in collaboration with Ved Prachar Mandal, Ludhiana, orgnised an inter-school Vedic speech competition, under the provincial general secretary of the mandal, Roshan Lal Arya. The chief guest appreciated the programme and said such competitions should be organised from time to time to promote moral values among the youth. Niraj form Shri Krishna Model High School stood first while Simran from Khalsa Girls Senior Secondary School came second, followed by Muskan Sharma from Rajindra Model School. SDP Senior Secondary School and Rashtriya Bal Vidya Mandir School were given ‘commendable’ awards. There was a need to work together to solve the problems being faced by the country, he added.
