Ludhiana: Kundan Vidya Mandir, Civil Lines, organised the 75th annual athletics meet. Kapil Gupta, school manager, inaugurated the meet. Various track-and-field events were held to keep participants in high spirit. The highlight of the day was a ‘jalebi’ race, in which students had their hands tied on the back and ate jalebies hanging from a thread. Principal Navita Puri advised students to take an active part in games and inculcate the habit of discipline, hard work, punctuality and leadership to lead a successful life.

Kapil Gupta, school manager, inaugurated the meet. Various track-and-field events were held to keep participants in high spirit. Students left the audience mesmerised with PT display. The highlight of the day was a ‘jalebi’ race, in which students had their hands tied on the back and ate jalebies hanging from a thread. The chief guest appreciated the efforts of the school and encouraged students to include physical activities and sports in their lives by being part of the Fit India Movement. Principal Navita Puri advised students to take an active part in games and inculcate the habit of discipline, hard work, punctuality and leadership to lead a successful life. TNS
