Resident seeking cheaper SUV from Kerala duped of Rs 10 lakh

Our CorrespondentLudhiana, December 2The Tibba police have booked six persons, including five residents of Thrissur town in Kerala, for cheating Kewal Bajaj, a resident of Hargobind Nahar here. The police said the suspects had taken Rs 2 lakh from the complainant and given him visa, ticket and employment agreement from a company, which were all forged. 3 police have registered a case of fraud and cheating against Ish Makkar, a resident of Dharampura, and his accomplice Sham Lal of Tilak Nagar for cheating Dharminder Sharma, a resident of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Park here. According to the police, the complainant had borrowed money from Ish Makkar in 2013-14. Thereafter, the suspects filed a false case under section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act in a bid to extort money,” the police added.
