Two mobiles snatched

Our CorrespondentLudhiana, December 2Two motorcycle-borne youths snatched a mobile phone from Manpreet Kaur, a resident of Dhir Colony on Kakowal Road, on November 22 from near Jai Mata Marble store on Kakowal Road. She told the police that two youths came on a motorcycle from behind, snatched the phone from her hand and escaped. A case under section 379-B/34 of the IPC has been registered by the Basti Jodhewal police against unknown persons. In a similar incident, Roshan Deen, a resident of Mundian Kalan, lost his mobile phone to snatchers riding a motor cycle (PB-10BY-4613) who were armed with a sharp weapon. The Jamalpur police have registered a case under sections 379-B/34, IPC, against two persons, identified as Sahibzada Singh and Sonu, both residents of Jamalpur.

The complaint told the police that he, along with his wife, was going towards Mundian Kalan in the evening on Sunday, when the motor cycleborne snatchers took away his mobile phone at knifepoint. The Jamalpur police have registered a case under sections 379-B/34, IPC, against two persons, identified as Sahibzada Singh and Sonu, both residents of Jamalpur.
