Ludhiana, December 3 Manjot Singh, the science teacher who had injured a Class VI student of Government Middle School, Meharban, on Monday, has submitted a written apology to the girl’s parents. A meeting of the school staff and parents was held today in presence of the panchayat of Bajra village, where the girl student resides. The school head, concerned science teacher and staff of the school were present during the meeting. Mahesh, the victim’s father said his main concern was that such incidents should not happen in future as it could prove fatal. “The village panchayat was also present during the meeting and it was unanimously decided to reach upon a compromise and not submit a complaint to the police. The science teacher has submitted a written apology and said such incident will not be repeated in future,” he said. Manjot said: “What happened was an accident. I did not do it deliberately. A written apology has been submitted and no such incident will be repeated again
