Tribune News ServiceLudhiana, December 3Fatehgarh Sahib Member of Parliament (MP) Dr Amar Singh held a meeting with Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thawar Chand Gehlot and raised the issues concerning the Scheduled Castes and formulating a policy for supporting the needy students by providing them scholarships for higher education. Dr Singh said, “The students have been facing problem as the funds have got delayed and educational institutions are demanding fee in advance. He said, “The students who are totally dependent on the Central Government’s scholarships are leaving their studies.”
