Management students of CT university get MSME award

Tribune News ServiceLudhiana, December 5The Management Development Programme (MDP), in association with the Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME-DI Ludhiana) awarded management students of CT University, for marketing management. Students were felicitated by Kundan Lal and RK Parmar, assistant directors, MSME-Development Institute, Ludhiana. Students, who were awarded, were part of a one-week session addressed by various resource persons from the MSME. During the programme, sessions relevant topics related to marketing management were conducted. Industrial visits to Central Tool Room, Ludhiana, and Gagan Mechanical Works were also organised for the participants.

Kundan Lal said, “With such certification from the MDP, students can seek any assistance from MSME-DI when they desire to set up their own unit.” Amrinder Singh, head, School, Management Studies, said: “Each session was beneficial for students as it connected them with the industry and enhanced their knowledge about setting up their own business in near future.” Vice-Chancellor Harsh Sadwarti said: “These programmes nurture the talent of youth by enlightening them on various aspects of industrial activity, besides improving their decision making capabilities and making them potential entrepreneurs.”
