IN BRIEFLudhiana: Almost 21 days after jail inmate Sooraj Kumar, alias Kali, of UP, who had escaped from the bus ferrying inmates to the Central Jail, the anti-narcotics cell of Ludhiana on Thursday nabbed him. Inspector Jagjit Singh, in charge of the cell, said they received secret information that the accused was roaming near the Pahwa turn. TNSTwo nabbed with opiumLudhiana: The Sadar police have nabbed two drug peddlers and recovered 1.25 kg of opium from their possession. They have been identified as Dalpat Singh (19) of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, and Raju Yadav (35), of Dhandra. Sub-Inspector Rajinderpal Singh said the suspects were nabbed near the Daad bus stand following a tip-off.
