Ludhiana, December 6Dr Priya Bhusari from Panjab University, Chandigarh, and PGIMER, has received the Bharat Jyoti Award for meritorious services and outstanding contributions in the field of nuclear medicine. She was honoured at a seminar, held on economic growth and national integration, conducted by the India International Friendship Society (IIFS) at India International Centre, New Delhi. The society organises seminars twice a year and honours 35 to 40 people for their academic achievements. During her research tenure, Dr Priya developed an anti-body based radiopharmaceuticals for diagnosis of breast cancer.
