Miss and Mrs Punjab Divas auditions in January

DISTRICT SCANLudhiana: The auditions for Divas Beauty Pageant’s Miss and Mrs Punjab Divas will be held in Punjab in January. The pageant is currently holding its third season’s auditions in Rajasthan, West Bengal and Gujarat, and were holding auditions in Punjab for the first time. Binny Bhatt, founder of the pageant, said the organisation has planned to hold auditions in Ludhiana and Jalandhar in January. The winners of the pageant will represent Punjab in the Miss and Mrs India Divas Pageant in April 2020. They will also represent India at Earth Pageant, the United Nations Pageant, Asia Pacific Pageant, Eco International Pageant and many other.

Blankets distributed Blankets were distributed by the People’s Welfare Society in the city today. Blankets were distributed by Ramesh Joshi, president of the society, at Lions Bhawan, Civil Lines. Joshi said they were trying their bit to help those in distressed by providing things they needed. IP Singh from San Francisco visited Machma Expo and has showed interest in investing in an exhibition ground. He said there was dire need of an exhibition centre in the city and the industry had been demanding one for many years. CICU president Upkar Singh said the industry needed to display their products through various exhibitions every year and used temporary hangers for the same, which were very costly. Meanwhile, Machma Expo witnessed an overwhelming response today. Till now, more than 25,000 visitors have visited the expo. CICU has also displayed products at the exhibition. — TNS
