City activists seek release of 16-year-old Pakistan boy

Youngsters of Initiators of Change and other social activists joined the assembly and request the Government of India to release the 16-year-old boy. The youngsters formed a human chain and also carried out a peace march to Gurdwara Baba Deep Singh Nagar Model Town Extension from Sarabha Nagar. Gouravdeep Singh, founder of Initiators of Change, said Mubarshar Bilal from Pakistan, who crossed the border unintentionally two years ago, was acquitted by the Taran Taran Court. They requested the Government of India to release him and also offered to help him meet his family members. Naib Shahi Imam, Usmaan Ludhianvi said as the court had acquitted the boy, the government should release him as a peace gesture.
