Tribune News ServiceLudhiana, December 9The Municipal Corporation claimed to have disconnected water supply and sewer connections of six properties as their occupants have failed to pay dues to the civic body in the Zone C area for a long time. The Zonal Commissioner, Neeraj Jain, said the consumers occupying these properties had not paid their water supply and sewer charges for a long time. He said the corporation had to collect about Rs 13-14 lakh from these persons who had defaulted on payment of their dues. The civic body has to collect dues worth crores of rupees from defaulters who have not paid water supply and sewer charges for a long time.
