Investigating officer ASI Kulwinder Singh said that on the complaint of the victim`s father, on December 12, 2020, a case was registered against Suresh Kumar under the Minor Rape and Pocso Act. In the complaint filed with the police, he had to stay in the hospital due to his wife being ill. The children were alone at home. He told his friend Suresh Kumar to take care of the children. At night he used to come to his house and sleep near the children. One night, he threatened and raped a 13-year-old daughter.
The wife remained in the hospital for several days and during this time, the accused made the daughter a victim of lust several times. In December, the daughter complained of abdominal pain. Upon examination by the doctor, it was found out that she was eight months pregnant. On asking the girl, she told that the accused used to rape her and intimidate her. After this, the police arrested him. He is currently in jail on a court order. In January, the minor gave birth to a son who died two months and 16 days later.
