Bharat Bhushan Ashu lays stone of sports park at Haibowal

Ludhiana August 21Cabinet Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu today laid the foundation stone of a sports park near Dairy Complex in Haibowal. Ashu said the sports park was being developed on two acres of land at a cost of Rs 50 lakh. The park would have fencing lights a sports grounds and play area for children and work on the same would be completed in the next three months. He said almost all existing sports infrastructure in the city was in the process of getting upgraded including a synthetic athletics track at Guru Nanak Stadium. An indoor swimming pool at Rakh Bagh had been a long-pending demand of the city residents and work on the same would commence shortly.
