LUDHIANA SCANLudhiana: The finale of Regal Fashion and Fitness Fashion Show-season II will be held on August 19 at King Spade Resort at Dugri from 4 pm onwards. Right to Service panelchief conducts meetingRP Mittal, Commissioner, Right to Service Commission held a meeting with various departments to take stock of pendency of applications on Friday. “Last year was a success and we are hoping to make it big this year also,” he said. Giving information, producer of the show, Gurdeep Singh Gosha said that various contests such as queen of the year, boys fitness contest and designer show will be held. While addressing the heads of different departments, Mittal said incomplete applications should not be accepted as it create delay in providing information but also causes inconvenience to the concerned department.

Prez for education of the poor President Ram Nath Kovind has assured to impress upon authorities in the Ministry of Education, Government of India to decrease the gap between education of the children of poor families and the rich studying in schools of the Punjab. Former Deputy Speaker Lok Sabha, Dr Charanjit Singh Atwal, and former councilor from local town and National Organising Secretary of the Backward Classes Wing of SAD, Dilshad Ahmed, claimed that the assurance was given to a delegation of leaders led by Dr Atwal during a meeting held at the Rashtarpati Bhawan at New Delhi recently. — TNS
