Ludhiana, August 21 To boost the morale of party cadres, a meeting of party volunteers from Ludhiana Centre constituency was held under the chairmanship of Ludhiana City President Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal at Sona Complex in Miller Ganj area last evening. Grewal called upon volunteers to take up the issues concerning the public strongly. He claimed that AAP was all set to fight the Municipal Corporation elections in the city and exhorted volunteers to put in all energies to sort out the routine problems of people in their areas. He claimed that the Congress government, who came to power with false promises, had completely failed on all fronts and people were fully disappointed. Now, AAP was the only alternative for the people in Punjab, he said. State Media Team Member Darshan Singh Shankar, Ex- Zone Coordinator Suresh Goyal assured him of their full support in gearing up the party volunteers for the MC elections. They said the Congress and SAD-BJP had completely ruined the state by making huge corruption and misrule and now, the people will teach a befitting lesson to them in the coming elections.— TNS
