On Tuesday morning, Gosain, who is mukhya shikshak of the Mohan shakha of the RSS, was killed at his residence in Gagandeep Colony in the Basti Jodhewal area. The Sangh leader’s killing comes more than a year after another prominent RSS leader from the state, Jagdish Gagneja, was shot in Jalandhar last August. Gagneja succumbed to his injuries a month later. Gosain’s family members said he was associated with the RSS for more than three decades, and was also the mandal pradhan and coordinator of the RTI wing of the local BJP unit. Gosain’s son Deepak Kumar said, “My father was at the gate of our residence, when two persons on a motorbike called out to him. As he looked towards them, they shot him.
