The van that hit a median killing two passengers near Gangaikondan in Tirunelveli district on Monday. While Jayapaul and Subramainan’s wife Parvathi were killed on the spot, seven others sustained injuries. Police said Subramanian (56) of Velalarkulam near Seethaparmanallur near here and his relatives were returning home in a van after visiting his newly-wed daughter Esakkiammal and son-in-law Vinodh in Coimbatore. The Gangaikondan police sent the bodies to Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital.
