Organised by KannadiVappa International School (KIS) in association with School Leadership Network (SLN), the Mumbai-based professional network of school leaders, teachers presented papers in the summit, a first of its kind in the district to provide platform for school teachers to express themselves on curriculum reforms. In the afternoon session, teachers presented case studies of learning disabilities, imparting value education and inculcating environmental sensibility among students. RamanathapuramGovernment and private school teachers gave shape to their ideas on reforming the curriculum of school education with a special focus on agriculture, environment and value education at “School 3.0’, the first district-level educators’ summit held here on Saturday. About 100 teachers participated and presented papers and took part in panel discussions, he said. The best papers would be sent to the government with a request to consider the views on reforming the curriculum of school education, he said.
