THOOTHUKUDIG. Princeton, whose leg was amputated after he suffered an injury in the police firing during the May anti-Sterlite agitation here, wrote to Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Tuesday seeking a different job. He also demanded that the compensation given to him be increased and free housing be given to him in view of his poor economic background. “Kindly give me another job considering my educational qualification and disability,” he said in his petition. He demanded that the cost of maintenance of his prosthetic leg be borne by the government. Mr. Princeton, who has been appointed as Village Assistant on compassionate grounds, said he could not carry out his duties as they involved field work.
