EPFO pensioners told to register ‘life certificate’ in banks

All banks disbursing EPFO pension should make necessary arrangements for registering life certificates of EPFO pensioners in order to alleviate the difficulties caused to the pensioners. TIRUNELVELIPensioners of Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation’s Tirunelveli Regional Office have been asked to register their ‘life certificate’ in their pension drawing banks before November-end. The EPFO pensioners should carry Pension Payment Order, Savings Bank Passbook, Aadhaar Card and Mobile Phone along with them for the registration of ‘life certificate’, the statement said. An official statement said the pensioners of Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation’s Tirunelveli Regional Office should register their ‘life certificate’ in their pension drawing bank branch in November 2018 for the year 2019.
