With the Mulla Periyar dam having a little over 110 feet of storage and the discharge being maintained at 200 cusecs a day to Vaigai reservoir, the city’s main water source, officials said that they could maintain distribution with ease till March end to residents in. Hence the once-in-three-days supply, which is in vogue, will continue for another 30 to 35 days.
