College bus gutted in fire

An air-conditioned bus of an engineering college was gutted in a fire accident on Virudhunagar-Sivakasi highway on Wednesday evening. Fire ravaging the bus of an engineering college on Virudhunagar-Sivakasi highway on Wednesday evening. Police said that the bus that required some repair had left the college for a workshop. Virudhunagar Tahsildar Syed Ibrahhim said that except for the bus driver, no one else was in the vehicle when it went up in flames. When it came closer to the college, the driver, P. Dhanushkodi (64), noticed smoke bellowing from the rear side of the vehicle.
