Kasturba Hospital gets ‘mercury-free’ certificate

Muthana, Chief Operating Officer, and Avinash Shetty, Medical Superintendent of Kasturba Hospital, received a ‘mercury-free hospital’ declaration certificate from M. Dayanandam former Medical Superintendent and COO, Kasturba Hospital. A statement issued by the hospital here on Friday said that the dial type BP apparatus and digital infra-red thermometers are accurate and do not pose any environmental hazards.
