Indian Science Congress honours MIT, Manipal professor with 'Young Scientist Award'

To encourage young scientists, ISCA confers one young scientist award each year in fourteen sections. Ujjwal Verma was honoured with Young Scientist Award. A panel of experts constituted by sectional president select the young scientist awardees. MANIPAL: A professor in the department of electronic and communication engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology (Manipal Academy of Higher Education) was honored by the Indian Science Congress with the Young Scientist Award at its 105th Session held at Manipur University , recently. Ujjwal is a recipient of the award in the information and communication technology, including computer science section.These sections consist of various disciplines of science and technology such as chemical sciences, plant Sciences, engineering sciences, information and communication science and technology (including computer sciences), etc.

MANIPAL: A professor in the department of electronic and communication engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology (Manipal Academy of Higher Education) was honored by the Indian Science Congress with the Young Scientist Award at its 105th Session held at Manipur University , recently. Ujjwal Verma was honoured with Young Scientist Award. He received the award from Najma Heptulla, Governor of Manipur. The award carries a certification of merit and a sum of Rs 25,000. The 105th Session of the ISCA was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.The ISCA is a professional body under department of science and technology, Government of India.
