Kasturba Hospital gets advanced CT scan machine

Sudarshan Ballal, Chairman, Manipal Health Enterprises, inaugurated an advanced new generation 128-slice Philips incisive CT machine in the Department of Radio-diagnosis at Kasturba Hospital here on Wednesday. The installation of this state-of-the-art incisive CT scan machine displayed its commitment to the society. Ballal, Pro Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) said MAHE and Kasturba Hospital were committed to providing world class care to patients including the economically challenged. The machine will be open for the public in a few days after the completion of licensing formalities,” he said. H. Vinod Bhat, Vice Chancellor, MAHE, said it was a proud moment that signalled the collaborative research between Philips and MAHE.
