The mangled remains of a car which was trampled by a wild elephant near Bilinele in Kadaba taluk of Dakshina Kannada district on Saturday morning. Occupants of a car who were on pilgrimage to Kukke Subrahmanya escaped death by a whisker when a wild elephant trampled their vehicle in Kadaba police limits on Saturday morning. Even as the elephant was attacking the car, sending shock waves among the eight occupants, it was frightened by the honking of a KSRTC bus arriving on the same stretch. No injuriesWhile the car has been completely damaged, the occupants escaped with minor injuries.
