Man lands in hospital for touching woman inappropriately

Mangaluru: Tension prevailed for a while during the dahi handi celebrations at Kadri here after an inebriated man allegedly touched a woman inappropriately.An officer from Mangaluru East police station said the inebriated man touched the woman inappropriately once. The man took advantage of this and allegedly touched her again. As blood began oozing out, police swung into action and immediately shifted the man to hospital.The officer said the man is out of danger. Both parties have registered complaints at Mangaluru East police station. This enraged her son who slapped the man and pushed him onto the tar road.
