Karnataka: CM’s letter provides a ray of hope for medical aspirant

The student was unable to get a medical seat due to poverty.Despite scoring good marks in NEET-UG Abdul Nasir , a resident of Manjanady, was unable to secure a medical seat. I have written a letter to chief minister H D Kumaraswamy regarding this, and have received a positive response. In the letter, the CMO has directed chief secretary, education department and higher education department to look into the issue. MANGALURU: A medical aspirant’s hopes have been raised following a letter from the chief minister’s office to the authorities. His father runs a canteen.Unable to get a medical seat even after multiple attempts, he shot a letter to chief minister H D Kumaraswamy on October 12, and received a reply on October 17.
