Indian engineers working in Kuwait caught for forged documents and education certificates , have created uncertainty for  thousands of Indian working there. The Kuwait Society of Engineers & Public Authority of Manpower have decided to give NOC to qualified engineers ,if their engineering degree is from accredited to the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).  Degree from certain premier institution such as NITs, IITs are exempted from the rule.

A working Indian in Kuwait said a few months ago, his job payroll was under engineering category, but due to the new rule, he have been demoted to a supervisor with a pay cut. His AICTE approved but his course/college is not accredited under NBA.  He has to produce many documents to get my degree recognized here in Kuwait and it will take a lot of time too in the pandemic

Another working mechanical engineer passed from University of  Calcutta in 1980. He is holding 33year of experience and worked in many countries say its humiliating for him , he says that to prove himself that he is engineer every year while renewing his residency visa. By doing so, it is also questioning the education system of India and our quality workforce who have left their country to serve in Kuwait.

There are many engineers like them whose future are uncertain because of fraud committed by few. The stripping of engineer visa category have many several disadvantages like they will not  be eligible for driving license and other amenities.
