  • | Tuesday | 8th June, 2021

The Karnataka CET will be conducted on August 28, 29, and 30 this year, as per the official schedule.

The Common Entrance Test has been relaxed for the current academic session says Deputy Chief Minister and Higher education minister, Dr.C.N.Ashwatha Narayana. Along with the development of minimum eligibility criteria marks the department is mulling CET marks as a common basis in this year.

If CET performance is made as to the common basis for admission into all the science-based courses, some of the courses may need certain relaxations which will be decided depending on the nature of the courses.

Minimum eligibility marks of 45%(40% for SC/ST/OBC) were supposed to be secured in PCM subjects in the 2nd PUC examination, which was considered as a criterion all these years for writing CET. This will not be applicable for this year.
