Karandlaje urges high-level probe into IAS officer’s death
- | Thursday | 18th May, 2017
“…I need not have to emphasise that this tragedy warrants a thorough probe from the highest authority to unravel the mystery. Shobha Karandlaje, MP, has demanded a thorough probe into the death of the IAS officer and Commissioner of Food and Civil Supplies, Karnataka, Anurag Tewari, in Lucknow under “suspicious circumstances” on Wednesday. This, by itself, made the death suspicious because it was incomprehensible that an IAS officer could be found dead on the roadside. I request you to kindly look into the matter and direct the concerned to take up the matter with utmost importance and urgency it deserves,” Ms. Karandlaje said in the letter. I strongly feel that there is something more than what meets the eye in this episode.
