The arrested is Nandini Uma, a native of Madurai in Tamil Nadu.Nandini is accused of snatching away a gold chain worth Rs 30,000 from a child's neck in a bus. The incident occurred around 10.30am.Puttur traffic police have registered a case.Mangaluru city police on Friday arrested a 19-year-old girl in connection with a chain snatching case near Pumpwell. Police have recovered the chain from her possession.According to police, Nandini works in a team, which has involved in many crimes. While Manjunath was killed on the spot, Nagesh died on the way to hospital. MANGALURU: Drivers of two mini trucks were killed after their vehicles collided head on near Golithottu Bridge under Puttur traffic police station limits on Sunday.The deceased are Manjunath ,27, a resident of Shivamogga and Nagesh, 22, a resident of Nelamangala near Bengaluru.Police said, the accident occurred as one of the drivers lost control over the vehicle.
