Youth leaves for police recruitment exam, found dead day later

Bijnor: A 23-year-old youth’s body was found hanging from a tree a day after he left home for Saharanpur to take police recruitment exam on Tuesday. I don’t know why he killed himself.”On being asked about the case, Noorpur SHO Suman Kumar said, “Prima facie it seems like a suicide. We are trying to know why the youth ended his life and are questioning his family members over this issue. As of now, it appears to be a case of suicide, officials said.Passerby spotted the body on the outskirts of Noorpur city in the morning and called up police. According to Sudha Sharma, mother of the deceased, “Azad was pursuing para-medical course from an institute at Greater Noida.

According to sources, an empty beer bottle was found near the body. As of now, it appears to be a case of suicide, officials said.Passerby spotted the body on the outskirts of Noorpur city in the morning and called up police. A team of cops arrived at the spot and identified the body with the help of the deceased’s mobile phone and ID proof.The deceased was identified as Azad Kumar (23) from Mohalla Hazrat Nagar of Noorpur city. According to Sudha Sharma, mother of the deceased, “Azad was pursuing para-medical course from an institute at Greater Noida. He had applied for the constable’s post. He left house on Monday. I don’t know why he killed himself.”On being asked about the case, Noorpur SHO Suman Kumar said, “Prima facie it seems like a suicide. We are trying to know why the youth ended his life and are questioning his family members over this issue. So far the reason is not clear. However, police are probing the matter and will take further action accordingly.”
