PM to talk to residents of 19 villages about power supply

Bijnor: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be speaking over the phone with residents of 19 villages across 10 Uttar Pradesh districts on Tuesday to discuss their problems relating to power supply. The PM will ask villagers about power supply at their villages. Two villages have been selected from each of these districts, except Meerut, where only one village has been shortlisted. Residents from these villages are scheduled to speak with the PM According to officials, PM Modi may interact with two villagers from each over the mobile. In addition, he may ask about development at their villages.

Bijnor: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be speaking over the phone with residents of 19 villages across 10 Uttar Pradesh districts on Tuesday to discuss their problems relating to power supply. This comes days after Modi had met 150 sugarcane farmers from UP, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Maharashtra and Karnataka in Delhi to discuss government initiatives to overhaul sugar industry.Ten districts shortlisted for the purpose are Moradabad, Bijnor, Amroha, Sambhal, Rampur, Bulandshahr, Hapur, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar and Shamli. Two villages have been selected from each of these districts, except Meerut, where only one village has been shortlisted. Residents from these villages are scheduled to speak with the PM According to officials, PM Modi may interact with two villagers from each over the mobile. It is not clear at what time he will speak to them, However, preparations are in place at these villages.Rural areas are supposed to get 18 hours of power a day while tehsil headquarters are to get 20 hours of supply. The PM will ask villagers about power supply at their villages. In addition, he may ask about development at their villages.
