Bijnor: Two persons were killed and two were injured in two separate road accidents on Sunday. The injured were admitted to hospital.The first accident occurred near Mubarakpur Kinda village at Sherkot when a speeding Loni roadways bus hit a motorcycle, mowing down the biker, Jubair (18) and injuring Shoeb, the pillion rider. Both hailed from Mohalla Hakiman of Sherkot. Shoeb was admitted in a Dhampur-based hospital and later referred to Moradabad as his condition was critical.Confirming the incident, Sherkot SHO Pankaj Tomar said after accident, the bus driver fled leaving the vehicle on the roadside. Police have filed a case against the driver based on the complaint lodged by father of the deceased, Jubair.In another accident, a 35-year-old mini truck driver, Kunwarsain, was killed and its cleaner, Rajesh, injured in a head-on collision with a truck in Afjalgarh. The mini truck was on its way from Pilibit to Ramnagar when accident took place. The injured was admitted in Afjalgarh’s hospital while body of the deceased was sent to district hospital for post-mortem.
