Illicit liquor making factory busted in Amroha; two arrested

Bijnor: An illicit liquor making factory was busted by the police in Amroha on Friday morning and two people were arrested in the matter. At least 84 bottles of illicit liquor was seized from the spot. They used to make illicit liquor and later pasted the stickers of various wine manufacturing companies. The accused used alcohol and chemical to make illicit liquor. Meanwhile, in Bijnor, over 100 bottles were seized by police in Bijnor’s Haldaur area.Addressing a press conference, Amroha additional superintendent of police, Brajesh Singh, claimed that police had got a tip off that few persons were making illicit liquor at Dhanora town of Amroha district.

Meanwhile, in Bijnor, over 100 bottles were seized by police in Bijnor’s Haldaur area.Addressing a press conference, Amroha additional superintendent of police, Brajesh Singh, claimed that police had got a tip off that few persons were making illicit liquor at Dhanora town of Amroha district. Police conducted raids on Thursday late night and arrested two men with red handed. Police have also recovered 88 bottle of liquor, 10 litres of methyl alcohol, different type of colours, many empty bottle used for filling liquor and a lactometer from the spot.”Singh further stated, “The arrested persons were identified as Kuldeep Kumar from Maheshra villager under Rajabpur police station and Jai Kumar from Naraina village of Rajabpur area. They used to make illicit liquor and later pasted the stickers of various wine manufacturing companies. During the interrogation liquor mafias told the cops that they used to supply it to rural areas. The adulterated liquor was supplied through agents.”According to police, Kuldeep was a salesman at a wine shop earlier and now found indulged in this nefarious activity. Police have registered a case against the culprits and are trying to trace out their network. The arrested persons used to measure intensity of the produce by lectometer.On the other hand haldaur police of Bijnor district have seized around 104 bottle of illicit liquor on Friday morning arresting three persons Amit Kumar, Mahipal and Sundar Singh of Mohalla Kheda. Police have registered a case against the accused.
