NIA team grills pro-Khalistan outfit members arrested in Shamli

Meerut: A six-member team of National Investigating Agency ( NIA ) came down to Shamli to interrogate three pro-Khalistan outfit members who were arrested by Shamli police recently.According to Shamli SP Dinesh Kumar P, the NIA team led by Akhtar khan was in Shamli’s Jhinjhana where the three accused -- Karam Singh, Gurujant alias Jenta and Amreet alias Amrit. It will interrogate Jerman and also seek remand to bring Jerman to Shamli for further interrogation in the ongoing case,” Shamli SP Dinesh Kumar P said. Jerman has been brought to Patiala in Punjab where teams with hold interrogations with Jerman.“A team has been sent to Patiala. Local court had given 10-day police remand of the three accused.A team of Meerut unit of ATS and Shamli police had already left for Punjab on Thursday evening to interrogate kingpin of the module, Jerman who was arrested from Rajasthan.
