Man kills 60-year-old father for property

Things took a turn for the worse on the intervening night of November 1-2.After the murder, Sakib, in connivance with others in the family, tried to make the murder appear as a natural death. Sakib tried to conceal the gunshot wound and cleaned the spot and started preparing for the burial of the deceased.The local police was tipped-off in the morning about the murder.

Argument over this used to swell to altercation. Things took a turn for the worse on the intervening night of November 1-2.After the murder, Sakib, in connivance with others in the family, tried to make the murder appear as a natural death. Sakib tried to conceal the gunshot wound and cleaned the spot and started preparing for the burial of the deceased.The local police was tipped-off in the morning about the murder. Sakib escaped from the spot even as the police blew the lid off the murder cover-up and sent the body for post-mortem.“Based on the complaint of deceased’s eldest son Rashid, a case was lodged at Lisari gate police station. Teams have been pressed in action to trace Sakib,” said Raghuraj Singh, Lisari Gate SHO.
