2 months after blast, chemical factory gets permission to restart ops

We gave permission only after getting convinced that all the safety measures are in place. Later, the factory owner gave monetary aid of Rs 12 lakh each to the victim’s families after taking affidavits in his favour.A few days ago, the owner of the factory had asked for permission to sell produce kept inside the factory and the administration granted it.When asked about it, the PCB officer said: “The permission has been granted by UP pollution control board, the industrial officer and senior administrative officials. We have directed the owner of the unit to complete biogas plant within three months.”
