Rawat was in Pithoragarh to campaign in support of BJP candidate Rajendra Singh Rawat. Pithoragarh: Days after he was arrested for trying to enter Naini Saini Airport to protest delay in air services from Pithoragarh, independent candidate Manoj Kumar Joshi, contesting for the post of chairman of Pithoragarh municipality, has now launched a ‘maun vrat’ and was seen with his mouth taped on the last day of campaigning in the state on Friday.“My silence will be heard more than the voice of other candidates,” said Joshi before starting his unique form of protest.On November 14, Joshi was protesting against delay in start of Pithoragarh-Dehradun and Pithoragarh-Pantnagar air services.
