Bijnor/ Muzaffarnagar : Two separate road accidents killed one and injured four persons in the district. While Sonu was declared dead by the hospital, his brother Sonu was referred to a higher facility in Meerut. The police officials are trying to trace the truck which hit the car. The incident took place on Panipat bypass in Kairana, on Sunday morning when a speedy truck rammed into the duo's bike. Both the incidents involved speeding trucks hitting other vehicles.In the first incident, a truck crushed two brothers on a bike, killing one and seriously injuring the other.

The incident took place on Panipat bypass in Kairana, on Sunday morning when a speedy truck rammed into the duo's bike. Locals rushed both of them to the hospital. While Sonu was declared dead by the hospital, his brother Sonu was referred to a higher facility in Meerut. Police have sent the body of the deceased for postmortem and have ordered an inquiry in the matter.The deceased, identified as Waseem Ahmed, was travelling with his brother Sonu, when the incident happened. According to police sources, Waseem and his brother Sonu, who worked for a factory in Panipat, were heading back to their home in Bijnor district.According to Bhagwat Singh, Station House Officer of the Kairana police station," We are trying to arrest the truck driver and a case has been registered into the matter. Probe is underway."In yet another incident, three persons including a mining officer got injured on Saturday night after a speeding struck hit the car they were travelling in, when they were en route to Bijnor from Dhampur. All the three injured were rushed to the district hospital. They are told to be out of danger.According to Bijnor’s mining officer, Ranjana Singh, “Our team had gone to Dhampur on Saturday to check vehicles loaded with sand. After checking the vehicles, we were on the way to Bijnor when a milkman’s bike collided with our car. When our driver stopped the car, a truck coming from opposite side hit our car damaging it badly and ran away from the scene.”“The two constables and I suffered severe injuries. We called the cops and were rushed to the hospital.” she said. The police officials are trying to trace the truck which hit the car.
